1 in 3 homeless people in the US are under the age of 18 and six million children die of hunger every year. I understand the difficulties of balancing the City’s budget, but I am certain that you will do what is in your powers to urge the House proposal to cut funding for SNAP. Our community needs these resources for basic survival purposes!
