Just was reminded of some of the blessings I’ve had as an unknown emcee.
I’ve had the privilege of being a part of a group who opened up for KRS-One—3 times-one of which was at S.O.B.’s in SoHo—where we met cats we’d only dreamed of meeting, cats we used to watch on Yo! Mtv Raps, Rap City etc.
I also opened up for El da Sensai at The Complex in Memphis, TN.—and on my bornday in 2011—I opened up for Sadat X.
These are facts—and I should remember them when I feel I’ve not experienced any milestones in my Hip Hop career/life.
